Accommodations

Open year-round, the King Copper Motel offers comfortable and friendly accommodations on Lake Superior in historic Copper Harbor . We offer two types of accommodation: waterfront rooms and beachfront Annex rooms. All of our 34 rooms have stunning Lake Superior views, comfortable queen beds, coffee makers, and large-screen cable television. In the Annex, our beachside rooms offer additional space and feature glass sliding doors for panoramic Lake Superior views. Pets are welcome for a small charge.

For our guests’ enjoyment, we have a private sand beach that is ideal for swimming and launching kayaks and canoes. The King Copper Motel is located adjacent to the Isle Royale Ferry docks, and within walking distance of area attractions. Our friendly staff is always available to assist in travel planning, to suggest activities, and to offer insight into local customs and culture.
